Samsung is going to upgrade the screens for the S24 series, which is no joke considering the excellence of current panels.

We are already getting to know a large part of the details about the upcoming Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra. They will be launched at the beginning of the year, ahead of last year’s schedule, and all three models will come with the same screen configuration.

A reliable leaker, the user X Revegnus, has stated that the screens of the three models in the S24 Series will all come with the exact same panel, except for the screen resolution, which will be adjusted for each size.

This will make it the screen with the highest peak brightness in the market.

In addition, Revegnus revealed details about the screen. It will be an LPTO, M13 display with a maximum brightness of 2,500 nits. The screens of the Galaxy S23 Ultra were OLED M12, so it is expected that with this generational screen change, the improvement will be noticeable.

This information is obtained from Samsung Display.

This could pose a challenge for the processors. Not only because we will need to see the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chips that will be in the Ultra models, but also because Exynos is making a comeback in the other two models, and they will have to be able to power such an impressive screen without faltering in the attempt.

Regardless, Samsung wants to make a statement in the field where it excels the most: panel manufacturing. This comes after a year of continuity where the competition has been giving them a run for their money.
