Samsung has launched the Galaxy SmartTag 2 in South Korea following its introduction alongside the Galaxy S23 FE. This device will be available for purchase starting from tomorrow, October 18, at a price of 36,300 won (27 dollars). There’s also an option for a 4-unit bundle priced at 129,800 won (96 dollars).
The Galaxy SmartTag 2 comes in both white and black. Buyers who purchase the device on Samsung.com before October 31, 2023, will have the opportunity to receive a free silicone case or a rugged case. Additionally, those who leave a review in Naver’s smart store will receive Naver Pay points as a bonus.
Features of the Galaxy SmartTag 2
This second-generation product boasts a more compact and slimmer design, with an IP67 dust and water resistance rating. It incorporates Bluetooth 5.3 (with LE), UWB, and NFC for extended range and more precise location tracking. Its battery can last up to 500 days in normal mode and up to 700 days in power-saving mode.
Furthermore, it offers support for the NFC-based Lost Mode, allowing users to input their contact information. If someone else finds the device, they can tap their phone on the SmartTag 2 to access the information and get in touch.
