Double dose of simultaneous updates, in this case, the Galaxy A52s and XCover 5 have started to receive the November 2023 security patch.
Specifically, the Galaxy A52s has begun receiving it in some Asian countries, while Samsung’s rugged phone has received the patch in Latin America. In both cases, the rest of the users in other regions will start receiving it sooner rather than later.
Both devices will update to One UI 6 – Android 14, although they will have to wait until December
The firmware version that comes with the security patch for the A52s is A528BZTS5EWK1, while that for the XCover 5 is G525FXXS9XWJ4. In both cases, we already know what comes with the November 23 patch, which doesn’t bring major changes to the operating system, but does fix more than 60 vulnerabilities, with 4 of them being critical, making it highly recommended to update your Galaxy as soon as possible.
To check if the patch is already available in your region, go to Settings -> Software Update, and it will appear there for you to download as soon as it’s available.
