Samsung continues to invest in its free television service, which has made a strong impact on the market. While Samsung TV Plus is not a new concept, the reality is that in 2023, it has gained the largest market share, thanks in part to very good deals with third parties.
The company has once again improved its channel offering by including 10 new channels, including Motorvision, La Liga+, or Narcos, among others.
About La Liga+ on Samsung TV Plus
LA LIGA+ offers the best sports coverage with a channel exclusively dedicated to bringing multiple and varied sports competitions to the Spanish audience. It includes competitions such as the Copa Libertadores, the most prestigious tournament in South America; the CONCACAF Gold Cup, the premier football championship in North America, Central America, and the Caribbean; or the AFC Champions League. The new channel will also offer matches from other important national championships, such as the Brazilian Brasileirao, the Peruvian Liga 1, the Austrian Bundesliga, and the Taça, the Portuguese Cup.
However, it’s not just football. LA LIGA+ also offers other sports and competitions such as the ASOBAL league, the top handball competition in Spain; the LEB Oro league, featuring the best of Spanish basketball; beach and court volleyball competitions like the Volleyball European Championship or the Volleyball Champions League; the Sail GP championship, the most extreme sailing event; or the Spanish Petanque Championship, where the country’s best players participate.
Thanks to the Todo Crimen channel, we can enjoy the complete Narcos series. All of this, of course, is free simply for owning a Samsung Galaxy phone or a Samsung smart TV. Here is the list of channels, with the note that these additions will be available for the Spanish version of the service, and it’s unclear if they will reach other territories.

- Motorvision: Sports cars, motorcycles, future trends in automotive technology, classic treasures, and off-road adventures on a channel dedicated to the best of motorsports.
- David el Gnomo & Friends: A magical and wise journey with David the Gnome and his friends. Lessons about love and respect to discover the secrets of nature.
- World Poker Tour: Channel dedicated to high-level tournaments of the popular gambling game.
- Vevo Navidad: The latest and classic Christmas music videos to celebrate the holidays in style! Mariah Carey, Wham!, and much more.
- Travelxp: Cutting-edge travel content for avid and discerning travelers showcasing lifestyles, foods, cultures in more than 55 countries.
